Gazprom gas output rises 15% to 201 bcm in Jan 1–May 15

MOSCOW, May 17 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom increased its natural gas output by 15.4% on the year to 201.3 billion cubic meters from January 1 through May 15, the company said in a statement Monday citing preliminary results.

Gas exports to non-CIS states grew 26.7% to 76 billion cubic meters in the period.

Local gas supplies increased by 18%, or by 19 billion cubic meters, in the period.
